Tiffany & Nick; June 1: Hicksville
Tiffany and Nick had a beautiful day June 1 for their wedding in Long Island. I started the day off with Tiffany and her bridesmaids who were getting ready at a hotel in Garden City while Tim Alan Smith videographer, Dominic, filmed the groomsmen at Nick's house in Bethpage.
The highlight was getting Tiffany into her gown which took the assistance of all of the bridesmaids. Nick's time was more laid back and he even got to spend some quality time with his small, yapping dogs before heading to the Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church in Hicksville.
The ceremony was long, but beautiful with highlights including the crowning of the couple as well as the rings and vows. After the ceremony, the couple was serenaded with cheers and rice as they headed to their vintage car.
The wedding party then headed to the Planting Fields Arboretum for a photo/video session. Photographer Ian Londin made sure that the couple took advantage of all the great locales on the site for wedding day photos. Another highlight was beautiful maid of honor, Irma, helping me find my contact lens after it fell out while filming with the Super 8 camera.
Then it was off to the Jericho Terrace for a night of fun with highlights that included special Greek Dances and music, a song sung by a bridesmaid that Tiffany dedicated to Nick, a cigar roller, toasts, special dances and of course cutting the cake.
